Brenda Galan was born and raised in South Florida. Raised by immigrant parents, she is fluent in both Spanish and English. She is also a first-generation college student. She is currently studying at Florida International University to pursue a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice and later become a certified paralegal. Due to current events, she is interested in working within immigration. She is a believer that even the smallest efforts can make an impact, which motivated her to become a member of Alternative Breaks; a club that focused on volunteer work in multiple countries. She is the oldest of 4 children & enjoys traveling, music, and spending time with family.
