Brenda Galan

Brenda Galan was born and raised in South Florida. Raised by immigrant parents, she is fluent in both Spanish and English. She is also a first-generation college student. She studied at Florida International University and graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and is working towards becoming a certified paralegal. She is a firm believer that even the smallest efforts can make an impact, and this adage served as motivation for her to become a member of Alternative Breaks; a club that focuses on volunteer work in multiple countries around the world. She is the oldest of four children and enjoys traveling, music, and spending time with family.
